Casey McLain
Casey McLain is a Stage Manager and Lighting Designer originally from Colorado. She has been living and working in the New York City area for the last five years. Casey began working with Concrete Temple Theatre in May 2007, when she stage managed Alberto’s Great Escape. Her working relationship with Carlo and Renee quickly developed, and she soon became their go-to-Stage Manager. She has since worked with Concrete Temple on many projects; Imperia Save The World: Cause Baby, No Worry, No Funk, Time to be Sunshine Drunk; The Whale; Bird Machine, and Hudson to China. She has had the pleasure of touring The Whale with the company in India and Sri Lanka. Casey has designed lighting and animated various projections for Concrete Temple Theatre as well as Stage Managed.
Casey worked as Technical Associate for Dixon Place for three years, where she designed lighting for various artists including: Deb Margolin; Lake Simons & John Dyer; Sybil Kempson; Bindlestiff Family Circus; Peter Neofois, and Ivy Baldwin Dance. She has stage managed for Inverse Theatre; Seeing Place Theatre; Samuel French Off Off Broadway Short Play Festival; Words of Choice, and Silver Brown Dance Company. Casey has designed sets for Peculiar Works Project; 13th Street Repertory, and Intl BTC. Casey has designed lights for 13th Street Repertory; Gehring Dance Theatre; Bank Street School Summer Camp, and has worked with Illumination Production Service as an electrician. Casey currently works as Inventory Manager for Samuel French, Inc. She has a B.A. in Theatre Arts from Eastern Illinois University.
